The new school year is under way and we’re all settling into our routines. Now it’s time to start thinking about Edcamp!

We’re pleased to confirm that Edcamp Edmonton (#edcampyeg) will take place Saturday, November 3rd at Lillian Osborne High School in Edmonton. Our theme this year is “The Conversation”. Whether you’re new to the education conversation or looking for new ideas to talk about, Edcamp Edmonton is a great, free (!) opportunity to connect and learn from other local educators.

Tickets will be available on September 23rd.

The first ever EdCamp Edmonton is only a few days away and we are really looking forward to coming together!

A few things to remember:

• Please bring $5 cash to cover the cost of breakfast, lunch and neverending coffee.
• Don’t hesitate to bring a laptop, smartphone or tablet device- we will have wireless access for you.
• Come ready with an idea of what you’d like to talk about, and what you have to share

For those of you who are twitter savvy: #edcampyeg is our hashtag. For those of you who are not, one of our first sessions will show you what you need to know.

Finally, we’d like to encourage you to not be shy! We are all like minded people coming together to connect and discuss education – all ideas are welcome.
